Researchers at the Adler School of Professional Psychology are conducting groundbreaking research on how mindfulness meditation affects personal orientation - a key psychological concept describing how individuals integrate thoughts, feelings, and bodily responses.
Who Can Participate in This Meditation Research?
The study seeks two distinct groups:
Meditation practitioners (including):
- Formal religious practitioners
- Secular meditation practitioners
- Yoga practitioners
- Other mindfulness-based practice followers
Non-meditation practitioners (control group)
Study Participation Requirements
- Must be 19 years or older
- Will complete:
- Demographic questionnaire
- Two anonymous online surveys
- Total time commitment: ~40 minutes
